Rachel “Win” Winchester

Rachel Winchester, or Win, graduated from Swarthmore College with a bachelors in art history. After creating multiple arts-related websites, she started attending WordPress meetups while teaching herself many digital marketing skills. In 2021, She signed up for Springboard’s UX Design bootcamp and began building WordPress websites for clients on a freelance basis. Currently, she works at DigitalCube on their WordPress products, client websites, and other initiatives for our users and their communities.

Derek Michael

After graduating with a Masters in Music, Derick first began a career as a music arranger and sound designer. Creating sound design for major brands cultivated an interest in other channels of creative media, led him into various video production and editing roles.
He eventually worked his way up from a commercial editor to the head of marketing for a private umbrella cooperation, overseeing seven companies marketing efforts. With a focus on managing the online presence of his company and its subsidiaries, he facilitated many different marketing initiatives to ensure the company ranked high in the SERPs.

Derick now works as a marketing manager with a SaaS company and regularly takes on freelance SEO and Marketing clients. Always hungry to learn more to better inform his content and marketing strategies, he spends much of his time studying and implementing SEO techniques on this favorite website platform, WordPress.

Jason Lawton

Jason Lawton has been developing websites since 1996, and using WordPress to do so for almost 10 years. During the day he works for a design agency as a WordPress developer focusing on custom theme and plugin development.

When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, checking out the latest javascript frameworks, playing video games, and reading sci-fi or fantasy books.

Mike Auteri

Mike Auteri is a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Penske Media Corporation (PMC) who handles development for many well-known publishing brands on WordPress VIP. He’s contributed a few lines of code to WordPress core and Gutenberg, is a WordPress community deputy, has written a couple plugins, presented at meetups/WordCamps, and is a co-organizer of the WordPress Montclair Meetup and lead organizer of WordCamp Montclair 2022.

A New Jersey native, Mike lives not 4 blocks from a house featured in the Sopranos. Mike is a fan of good beer and hot sauce.
