William Jackson

Bio of William Jackson, M.Ed. William graduated from South Carolina State University earning a Bachelor’s in Education. Furthering his education earning a Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University in 2004 with a focus on Educational Technology, Social Media and STEAM. Participating in the WordPress community since 2010 as an advocate for WordPress, WordCamp and KidsCamp conferences. He is a teacher of over 30 years teaching STEAM Education and Learning. William is a professor as well teaching Educational Technology, Social Media and STEAM initiatives and concept that build digital skills, talents and opportunities. Even during the pandemic William and his wife Aida Correa Jackson have spoken at multiple WordCamp conferences locally in Jacksonville, Florida, nationally and globally. They helped assist with WordCamp Central America that was virtual, WordCamp Santa Clarita that was virtual, WordFest 2021 and even spoke at Meetups in Lagos, Nigeria and WordPress Philly and on other platforms. His personal brand is: My Quest to Teach and welcomes conversations about his journey and adventures in WordCamps

During business hours you will find him in his home office building awesome things for some very cool publishers. Mike has worked on Rolling Stone, Variety, Billboard, CNET, and many others.

A little about him personally. Mike is married to the wonderful Steph Auteri, who is a writer, editor, blogger, social media guru, yoga instructor, and mommy to our beautiful daughter, Emily Lorraine.

A little more about him. Mike watches entirely too much television, drinks good beer, fences, eats things that incorporate hot sauce, and sometimes plays guitar and video games. He has also been reading a bit more lately, which is good.
