WordCamp Montclair will be held on the campus of Montclair State University (1 Normal Ave, Montclair NJ), in their new “School of Communications and Media” building.
Completed in 2017, the School of Communication and Media contains state-of-the-art facilities for students planning careers in journalism, broadcasting, and communications.
The drawing the building in our web site header is the School of Communication and Media building. A lot of the building architecture at MSU looks the same. Please make sure you arrive to the correct building. Follow the signs.
Parking
Your WordCamp ticket will come with one parking pass for the Red Hawk Deck. There will be signs at the parking deck you can follow across campus (5-minute walk) to the School of Communications and Media building.
When you enter the parking deck, pull a ticket. When you check into the WordCamp, you will receive a validated parking ticket that will allow you to exit the parking deck.
Please do not try to park anywhere else. You will be ticketed or towed.
Transporation
There are no NJ Transit trains to MSU on weekends. if you are traveling in via train, you will need to terminate at Bay Street Station in Montclair and take an Uber or Lyft to MSU.
